Wanting a love like Snape and Lily means wanting unrequited passion, early death, and a life of misery… it’s kind of like wanting to be Romeo and Juliet: shortsighted, to put it politely. Molly and Arthur spent a lifetime together, loving each other and raising fabulous children… They had hardships, but they supported each other through them. They were courageous, loyal, just, and fantastic parents. I’d much rather have a love like theirs.
